  I recently moved to S florida, and was delighted to find an Orthodox Christian, classical academy.My 9 yr old son is in his 1st year, and I couldn't be more pleased.Having sent 3 older children to public school , it's a stark difference.Firstly, I am so happy that the values, and faith that I am trying to instill in my son is being reinforced at the school.Second, he is learning spanish in 3rd grade .That's the way it's supposed to be! The reason, that kids in public school, take foreign language, but never actually speak it, is because in 6th or 7th grade, it's too late.Third, he is learning greek, and latin , which is so useful in english due to their roots in english language.It helps immensely, as children mature, with their vocabulary, reading, and communication skills.Forth, my son is in small classes, where he can get the personal attention he needs, without being self conscious, but in a compassionate nurturing environment.I could go on and on about the many positives, and why i am so happy with Paideia, but for the sake of brevity, I will wrap it up.In summary, most parents that value moral character building, education, and in a caring, nurturing environment, that happens to be green, and organic, will be very happy they chose PCA !
